Job Description:
The qualified candidate will take a pseudo role as a System Administrator with the responsibility of protecting company-owned code and data from leaking out of the system. You must be detail-oriented and have the necessary solid experience to set up measures that will protect data of company clients as well. The successful client will make sure that production servers are 100% up and running according to the best IT practices. Security policies on computers must be implemented properly and a back-up system must be followed on a regular basis.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related course
• Minimum of 2 years solid experience as a data security expert and/or systems administrator
• Hands-on experience in router and switch configurations is an advantage
• Certification from Cisco or Microsoft is an advantage
• Good English communication skills, oral and written
• Must be independent, a fast learner, highly motivated and can work with minimal supervision
